Here is an abstract of his entry -

This research was designed to create a farm implement designed to be inexpensive, multipurpose and built from easily available resources and materials. The goal was to require little or no fuel, and make it easy to operate and maintain, efficient and environmentally friendly. This new device harvests and threshes crops. When the farmer pedals a modified bicycle, a camshaft bearing a specialized drop cam rotates. The cam raises a cutting frame to the required height. Then, the frame uses gravity to harvest crops. The design can be easily modified to tackle different varieties of crops.
